FRS Intramurals
Fairbanks Road Elementary School provides its students (grades 3 and 4) with the opportunity to participate in after school intramurals throughout the year. Various athletic activities are held monthly, Monday - Wednesday, in the FRS gymnasium.
An Intramural Permission Slip with the listed activities to be held will be handed out at school. This slip must be completed, signed and returned by the set due date or students will not be able to participate.
Late buses are available. If you plan on picking your child up from intramurals we ask that you arrive by 4:20 p.m. near the main entrance. If you do not arrive at school before the late buses leave, your child will ride the late bus home.

FRS Activities
Crazy 8s Math Club
In the Crazy 8s Club, our third and fourth grade students have learned that math is fun! Every week concepts like geometry, ratios, addition, multiplication, measurement, mapping coordinates, problem-solving and more are explained in engaging activities that include human bingo boards, glowsticks, bouncy dice or imaginative spy training.
The Club meets once a week on Tuesdays after school. Club size is limited, if you are interested complete and return the permission slip distributed at school.
Late buses are available. If you plan on picking your child up from Math Club, we ask that you arrive by 4:20 p.m. near the main entrance. If you do not arrive at school before the late buses leave at 4:30 p.m., your child will ride the late bus home.

Music Exploration
As part of the Fine Arts instruction recovery plan, the music department is excited to offer an opportunity for extended day instruction for all second grade students. Miss Olick will meet with second grade students one day a week in the FRS music room and hold an after school music class from 3:30-4:25.
Late buses are available. If you plan on picking your child up from Music Exploration, we ask that you arrive by 4:20 p.m. near the main entrance. If you do not arrive at school before the late buses leave at 4:30 p.m., your child will ride the late bus home.
